During the process, Jen's Diet is able to deliver additional information and targeted marketing messages to the recipient, and invites the recipient to receive a free product sample. Since the recipient will have to enter in their shipping information to receive the free product sample, Jen's Diet will then have the recipients contact information to be able to do follow-up after the recipient receives the product sample.

To provide a more user friendly experience for the conference attendees, MP can also implement auto-registration. When a conference attendee fills out their on-line conference registration, a profile account is automatically created for the conference attendee. This enables the conference attendee to bypass having to re-enter their information for each of the participating company promotions they want to participate in. They simply log into their account, enter the iMrkr codes from the iMrkrs of the participating companies they received during the conference, and indicate that they do want to be entered into the promotion.

Of course, all of the other capabilities of the iMrkr system are available to MP and the companies that set up micro communities. Companies like Jen's Diet can use the community forum to interact with their customers, solicit product testimonials and feedback. Capabilities that they may want to continue using during the time period between conferences.

All of this means a more dynamic experience for companies participating in an event organized by MP, and sets MP apart from its competitors. The social media system can also be an additional revenue stream for MP through the sale of custom iMrkrs and micro iMrkr communities.
